Water parks? Swimming? Aqua parks? Theme parks? With a stoma (or two)\u2026

YES YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN.\u00a0
<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

So straight out of surgery, no these weren\u2019t my biggest concerns\u2026 maybe we will dive into those another time! But of course, as time goes on, these sorts of things will pop up.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So here it is, you\u2019re learning to live with your stoma, maybe you\u2019re back to work, you\u2019ve been on nights out with your friends, you\u2019re managing to parent again. You\u2019ve even been away for a night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But suddenly there is a new hurdle and it looks like a massive floating obstacle course on a lake, or a rollercoaster, or just a dip in your local swimming pool or maybe you\u2019re headed on holiday and you are ready for it all,\u00a0but not the swimming! All these things that used to be enjoyable and a treat, suddenly fill you with fear and anxiety.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have managed all of these things, and I can tell you; you will be fine.<\/strong> Your bag won\u2019t blow up on the rollercoaster, it won\u2019t just fall off as you\u2019re going round the loop the loop,\u00a0you won\u2019t fill a swimming pool with poo and your bag won\u2019t fill with water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
