Yes, whether you have an urostomy, ileostomy or colostomy, if you have looser output you want to take control of, eakin Perform™ can help you. For urostomates, as a note, the output will not drain properly once thickened through a bung or tap so be mindful if you are using these type of pouches.

No, there is no need to open the sachet. You simply pop the unopened sachet in the opening of your pouch before you apply it, or you can push it through the outlet if you are using a drainable pouch. The sachet dissolves away on its own so you don’t need to open it up. For drainable pouch users this means you can repeat as needed during your pouch weartime too.

It depends on what works for you. You may have regular loose output or just be experiencing an episode based on what you have eaten or medication you are on, or you just might be out for the day and unsure of bathroom access. The sachets can be used as often or as little as you need – when you need that little bit of extra confidence in your pouch.

If you have a lot of loose or unpredictable output you can of course use more than one sachet if it makes you feel more secure. Your stoma is unique so we suggest trying what feels most comfortable to you and speak to your stoma care nurse for their advice too.
