Simply place a sachet into your bag and allow the absorbent powder to thicken liquid stomal output. Giving you confidence throughout the day, Pelican Perform may help reduce leaks, minimise noise within the pouch, and make emptying easier with less splashing. By creating a thicker consistency, it helps provide you with greater security, comfort and control.
Especially useful for higher output stomas, during periods of activity to limit movement in your bag or when stoma output turns looser such a during illness.

Yes, whether you have an urostomy, ileostomy or colostomy, if you have looser output you want to take control of, Pelican Perform can help you.
For urostomates, the output may not drain properly once thickened through a bung or tap so be mindful if you are using these type of bags, you may need to change your bag after use.
No, you simply place the unopened sachet in the opening of your bag before you apply it, or you can push it through the outlet if you are using a drainable bag. The sachet dissolves away on its own so you don’t need to open it up. For drainable bag users this means you can repeat as needed during your bag weartime.
It depends on what works for you. Some people use it with every bag change, while others use it only when their output is looser than usual, during travel or before activities where bathroom access may be limited.
The sachets can be used as often or as little as you need – when you need that little bit of extra confidence and control.
Yes, if you have a lot of loose or unpredictable output, you can of course use more than one sachet if it makes you feel more secure. Your stoma is unique so we suggest trying what feels most comfortable to you and speak to your stoma care nurse for their advice too.
