eakin Cohesive® is our original formula, designed to protect sore damaged skin.
Choose eakin Cohesive® small if you have:
- Red, sore or damaged skin around your stoma
- A small area of skin that needs protecting close to your stoma
- A stoma that is 50mm or under and round, oval or any shape
- Looser or frequent output
eakin Cohesive® small is our thickest seal at 4.2mm so can cope with a little, or a lot of output plus can stretch that bit further for different shaped stomas. Ideal for looser or more fluid output stomas, it absorbs moisture to help keep skin healthy while creating a secure, comfortable fit.

Not everyone uses a stoma seal, but many people find one helpful. An eakin Cohesive® seal can help:

Adding a stoma seal to your routine can help create a more secure fit and give you greater peace of mind.
If your stoma is 50mm or smaller then eakin Cohesive® small, slims or large are your go to.

eakin Cohesive® slims – for more rounded stomas
eakin Cohesive® small – stretches to fit oval or irregular-shaped stomas
eakin Cohesive® large – designed to protect a larger area of sore or damaged skin
For stomas over 50mm, we would suggest an eakin Cohesive® stomawrap as your go to. It’s unique cut-out and larger starter hole allows you to wrap comfortably around your stoma.

100% yes! eakin Cohesive® seals are highly mouldable and can be stretched, shaped, torn and rejoined without affecting their performance.
Simply either wrap and/or press the pieces back together and mould the seal to fit the shape of your stoma.
eakin Cohesive® stomawrap even includes a cut section, making it easy to wrap around your stoma and mould back together.
Yes, eakin Cohesive® seals are designed to absorb and gradually transform into a protective gel. This is completely normal and shows the seal is absorbing output to protect the skin around your stoma… it has to transform to perform.
The gelling not for you? Our eakin freeseal® range is slightly different and doesn’t gel… find out more here.
The seal will usually come away with your bag or can be gently peeled away from the skin. Any remaining residue can be removed using a damp cloth or wipe before drying the skin. For stubborn residue, a medical adhesive remover can help remove it gently.
Yes, eakin Cohesive® seals are compatible with all stoma bags.
