How to use
eakin® seals are the most mouldable1 seals and have been designed to fit the shape of you. They can be stretched, moulded, broken and rejoined to create a secure fit.

If your stoma is 50mm or smaller then eakin Cohesive® small, slims or large are your go to.

eakin Cohesive® small – stretches to fit oval or irregular-shaped stomas
eakin Cohesive® large – designed to protect a larger area of sore or damaged skin
For stomas over 50mm, we would suggest an eakin Cohesive® stomawrap as your go to. It’s unique cut-out and larger starter hole allows you to wrap comfortably around your stoma.

100% yes! eakin Cohesive® seals are highly mouldable and can be stretched, shaped, torn and rejoined without affecting their performance.
Simply either wrap and/or press the pieces back together and mould the seal to fit the shape of your stoma.
eakin Cohesive® stomawrap even includes a cut section, making it easy to wrap around your stoma and mould back together.
Yes, eakin Cohesive® seals are designed to absorb and gradually transform into a protective gel. This is completely normal and shows the seal is absorbing output to protect the skin around your stoma… it has to transform to perform.
The gelling not for you? Our eakin freeseal® range is slightly different and doesn’t gel… find out more here.
The seal will usually come away with your bag or can be gently peeled away from the skin. Any remaining residue can be removed using a damp cloth or wipe before drying the skin. For stubborn residue, a medical adhesive remover can help remove it gently.
Yes, eakin Cohesive® seals are compatible with all stoma bags.
