Pelican Protect™ plus barrier film

We would suggest using a barrier film as often as desired. You can use it at every stoma bag change or just for occasional use, unless otherwise advised by your stoma care nurse.

This is completely up to you. As a suggestion, after you have removed your stoma bag and cleaned your skin, spray or wipe around your stoma and leave a few seconds until it has dried onto your skin. Then apply your stoma bag, seal and any other accessories.

The silicone based protective film contains no alcohol and just ingredients known to be skin friendly. As with any new product you are trying, we would suggest a patch test on the skin you are applying it to – just to be sure.

Our barrier film has a unique spearmint smell, which can help to mask any odours – leaving you fresh and in control.
